How to Check Your HVAC Warranty
Every HVAC unit manufactured in the last 30 years has its production date encoded directly in the serial number. That date tells us exactly how old your equipment is — and combined with the manufacturer’s warranty terms, we can tell you instantly whether you’re still covered.
1. Scan or Type
Take a photo of the nameplate on your unit or type in the serial number manually. The tool reads the label automatically.
2. Instant Results
See manufacture date, unit age, and exactly which warranties are active — base, extended, labor, and heat exchanger coverage shown separately.
3. Find Parts Fast

Why Does HVAC Warranty Status Matter?
A lot of homeowners in Albuquerque don’t realize their equipment is still under manufacturer warranty when it breaks down. That means they end up paying out of pocket for parts that should have been free. Most major brands — Carrier, Navien, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman — offer 5 to 10 years of parts coverage, and Navien tankless units carry a 15-year heat exchanger warranty.
The catch: most extended warranties require registration within 60–90 days of installation. If your unit wasn’t registered, you may only have the base warranty. This tool shows you exactly where you stand so you’re never caught off guard.
