The Carrier Performance Dual Fuel System combines a two-stage heat pump with a high-efficiency gas furnace for year-round comfort that automatically optimizes between electric and gas heating. It offers excellent efficiency and the reliability of dual fuel at a mid-range price point.
The system runs the heat pump for efficient electric heating in mild conditions and switches to the gas furnace when temperatures drop. Two-stage heat pump operation provides enhanced comfort and efficiency over single-stage models, with quieter operation and better humidity control.
